- Junior or Senior status (or a Sophomore planning for Junior year)
- Positive school attendance
- On track for high school graduation
- Courses on transcript related to a specific career cluster and/or pathway and student interest in that pathway
- Recommendation from related CTE teacher
YA Student Responsibilities:
- Arrange high school schedule and work schedule with YA Coordinator and School Counselor
- Document 450 work hours per year
- Schedule two related instruction courses concurrently with work experience
- Complete a competency checklist with your employer
- Provide own transportation to and from worksite
- Pass all high school courses and maintain positive attendance
